We currently have a table with a numeric field of N(17,2).

A third party has reccommended changing the field to B(16), allowing us to have greater decimal precision.

I know from experiance that this will fail to give us the same integer range as our original; however does anyone know of anyother pit-falls/problems in doing this (I.e. VFP bugs, NT limitations, etc.,etc.)?
