>>>He collapsed at work last thursday and had a seizure. They rushed him to hospital and the cat scan showed a brain tumor about the size of his middle finger. The doctor determined it needed to be removed and they are doing the operation today. We are still sitting in the pre-op for him to go in.. They are running late.

>>I have been through this myself personally (three brain surgeries) and if you or your son want someone to give any perspectives (later of course) then let me know. I will offer my experience off line with you and some tips about what to expect. I was not given everything as the doctors don't seem to want you to know so if I can help let me know.

Yes, but the doctor who worked on me is still my hero for saving my life. The only issue is a peson needs an advocate who will tell them the truth about how things will go so you know what is happening and why plus how it is likely to turn out. It took me 8 months to realize some things and I just in the last two weeks learned a leson by repeat that I didn't realize was coming. Dang, I hate that enough to share with someone who would need that info. They do their job pretty well, but once there part is done they sort of leave you to figure out the rest on your own.
