>>>He collapsed at work last thursday and had a seizure. They rushed him to hospital and the cat scan showed a brain tumor about the size of his middle finger. The doctor determined it needed to be removed and they are doing the operation today. We are still sitting in the pre-op for him to go in.. They are running late.

>>I have been through this myself personally (three brain surgeries) and if you or your son want someone to give any perspectives (later of course) then let me know. I will offer my experience off line with you and some tips about what to expect. I was not given everything as the doctors don't seem to want you to know so if I can help let me know.

Surgery went well. the doctor was able to get the entire mass out. It was a dermoid cyst and there were no complications as far as we know. He was alert, talking and able to move everything as he came out of anesthesia.
Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and caring. I appreciate it greatly.
