Any suggestions for doing formatted data entry of datetime fields in a datagridview? I just want the date part and I want the slash marks to fill in automatically when the user enters the date for a new record. I tried setting the columntype as a MaskedTextBox but it seems to expect the data field to be a string. I get an error when I try to enter a date in a new record. I also tried setting the format to d in the DataGridViewCellStyle. That still doesn't show the slashes for entry of dates on a new row. I'm willing to buy something if somebody has a good recommendation. Thanks.
