Any method in MM that has Hook in the name is placed there for the developer to add code. The HookConstructor doesn't require any code for the BO to instantiate.

As Tim pointed out, you need to call one of the methods that returns data to actually get data. i.e. GetEntity(), GetEntityList(). these are "usually" called at the point in your program when you need some data that that BO provides.
