Dunno - I just remember Doug having that solution, that seemed to help a few people.
While I've never used them I believe there are registry access and manipulation classes in the VFP FFCs (registry.vcx?). Rick Strahl has a class at
http://www.west-wind.com/wwvfppd.htm , it's older, I don't know if it's still useful. Using one of those, making a little search & replace app might not be too hard.
