Occasionally I really have a need to do this. Take for example a grid class. I don't want to subclass it. Instead, I want to unclass it. That is, take the class name that I gave to that grid, and change it back to 'grid'. Then I want to use that unclassed object as a grid on a form without any VCX dependency (i.e., dump the unclassed grid into the form as a VFP base-class object). So far, the only way I've found to do it is by manipulating the VCX plus a few other diddly tricks. Easy but tedious. Anybody have a tool for this?

And oh yeah... Arnon, have you recompiled your Data Environ extractor for VFP5?
