I don't understand why, as an ASP.Net programmer, you keep asking such basic beginning questions that any google search would answer for you. You are asking for help almost every line of code. I gave you a full sample that shows everything, yet you fail to use it.

Google datagrid .net row count.... and look at the results. It will show you how to do it. when you figure it out, it'll mean more than if someone gives you the code.
