>Why should I pay for your healthcare? I worked hard to provide for my family why does that entitle you or anyone else to my fruits of labor? If I do it should be my choice not forced on my by my governement to take from the have and give to the have nots.

Then pray hard you and your family are shielded from expensive life saving treatments.

One way of looking at it, is that public health care leads to lower costs. I'm paying a lot less than the average American for my health care. More even so, I think the overall quality is better as well. Our health care is aimed to keep you healthy, while your health care is aimed to rip you off. Even fairly standard procedures like having an MRI is about three times as expensive as up here. Why?

>I give because I want to and I don't tell how much I give. I give to various entities and do not claim a dime on tax relief, unlike those who claim only to get the tax break or so they can tell how much they give.

Good for, however I can't understand you reasoning. Why not paying less on healthcare and making sure it is available to anyone?
