I get really tired of people trying to equate the act of terrorism with fighting a war to quash terrorism. The is no synergy. Terrorist are rabid dogs. They target and kill civilians because they are cowards. Call them what they are feces on the face of humanity. They have no loyalty to a culture or a country. We do not target passive civilans, plain and simple.

The people killed in 911 had no choice they were victims of terrorism. The casualties of the war had a choice, surrender their arms or fight. They choose poorly.

Simple, you don't want to get killed don't raise arms against us. As to civilan deaths they were misfortunate but how many civilians died in WW II to quash a great evil? Albeit collateral damage is never acceptable it is called war and is the vilest of the sometimes necessary evil we do.
