Canadians go to the US to get some specialised operations (not available here) or to lighten the waiting list. In both cases, it's free of charge where refered by the healthcare.

Some rich canadians bypass the waiting list by paying themself for the treatment in the US (or other country). This doesn't prove that your system is better. It just prove that less peoples use the medical services in the US.
