I don't need to. I know from personal experience. My father received the most excellent health Care in Canada and did not have to pay a cent for anything. He was in hospital for a month after his triple bypass, due to complications. Net cost to the family - 0$. Consensus about the care given - Excellent. If I had to treat him in an Australian hospital I would have been broke 10 times over.
Here in Australia we have a health system modelled on the US one and this is much to my regret.
Almost every European country has a fantastic health system that is free for residents. Just because it is free does not mean it is not good.
I would consider it excellent.
Unfortunately we in Australia, like the USA citizens, have to pay for everything. Woe betide you if you fall ill and do not have "Insurance", then you are discarded and have to "wait in line". Hah.
