>No it is not a right. Just like driving is not a right, access to the internet is not, and many other things liberal try to equate to right to get them paid for by socialist programs.

Emergency health care already is a right.

Again what you seem to ignore, it that public healthcare is cheaper than the private healthcare you've got now. IOW, if you have public healthcare, you'd not only pay less a month, but also receive better healthcare.

Difficult to believe huh? Well working in the field of healthcare (Yes, also US healthcare) in several western countries, I'm convinced that a well organized health care with regulation from the government or insurance companies (e.g. each procedure cannot be more expensive than xxx amount) is working way better than the patchwork of healthcare providers in the US that charge three times as much as other western countries.

>You have to the right to pursue liberty and the work for the privilege of healthcare and anything else you want.

>Say whay you want, I have kin along the Canadian border and they see Canadians by the droves coming across to seek care for more serious issue than a cold or arthritis. Funny you don't see many Americans running to Canada or anywhere else to find the same...

Your logic totally escapes me. First of all Americans do not qualify for Canadian health care. However, Canadian health care might allow certain procedures to be carried out in the US. Further, In all western countries with universal health care, you still have a choice if you've got the money. There is no denial that the US has medical centers that are omngst the best in the world in treating some medical problems, but you'll have to pay big dimes for it. Those treatments usually are not covered by any insurances (neither US not Canadian) and usually are only affordable for quite wealthy people.

OTOH, Even in other countries, you still have private clinics like that all over the place. So the first basis is universal health care, and if you feel you could have better, then you can open your wallet and go to a private clinic. Personally I've stood for a decision to go to Germany for a certain treatment in a private clinic, but in the end I ended up with excellent treatment at the cost of $0.00
