>Surprised that MSFT didn't find this during testing. When using project manager, I like to have open for editing several files at once (forms, prgs). I frequently get a "VFP caused invalid page fault" crash when I'm simply hopping around to different source files and doing the Program-Compile keystroke sequence. Surprising because I usually don't have that many files open and the project is not that complex.

You should be safe to just set Compile on Save option, which will releave you from
Alt+Ping every you want to compile. Also, if you're just 'hopping' between forms and
modules (apparently for code reference purposes), why would you want to compile
so often?
Some things are better be left unknown...NOT!!!
