The count depends on what you do. If it is a pivot table then probably you wouldn't need any limitation. If rows woudl be over then sheet limit then you could use sql top N.

A path or dbc works in connection strings (free tables you specify the folder - you could do that for database tables but specifying DBC is better IMHO).
