It's sad the way politicians (from both parties) talk about things like the budget and how the government presents the budget to the public. If any public company on the NYSE, NASDAQ, etc presented their financial data this way, the government would come in and shut them down for fraud.

Most Americans don't understand the how deceitfully politicians talk about the budget and social security, etc. And they have no perspective how bad our financial picture is. Not just recently because of the economic turmoil of the last year, but the cumulative effect of the last two or three decades and America's addiction to borrowing.
