Do you mean auto-complete (as opposed to IntelliSense)? My C# was back in the 1.1 days, I'm trying to recall if it was available then, ISTR it might have been. But, I was finding I was using some long variable names that differed only in the last portion, so it was more efficient for me to copy/paste than to type the beginning of the variable name then arrow up/down to the one I wanted.
