I am not a .NET "convert".

Sorry if I misunderstood your various comments about transition to NET and your future intentions.

I don't suggest anything about "VFPers"

It has been alleged that VFPers attack NET proponents because they don't like the message. I contend that in every case I remember, people react to provocative delivery rather than content. Not something I want to debate, but hopefully something that won't keep being repeated.

I think it should be possible to share experiences as developers without having to be overly sensitive to the fears of people who don't want to hear it.

Perhaps people don't like being characterized as children or wanting mommy to protect them from the evil MS monster. What reaction did you get when you described your Strataframe experiences? Who was afraid of that?
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
