I was thinking about that, too. It just seems it's easier to flame someone where you don't have that personal relationship and you can take our your frustrations about an issue on that one person who seems to represent the other side . . . THE ENEMY!

Sometime in the last few years, I got flamed because I top-posted in a forum. One or two people were telling me how that was NOT ACCEPTABLE in that forum and I should bottom-post or post inline. Whew. I have my preference - top-posting, which I feel works better (here, at least) - but just try to use the "standard" established in the message I am replying to.
