>Hahaha -- as a .NET newbie, the architectural resonance of DataAdapters and TableAdapters collaborating appeals to me. Key word = newbie <g>.Trust me Mike ... you'd be much better off avoiding TableAdapters.
>Where have you been hiding? Off in France idling away afternoons again, eating cheese that smells like old sneakers? <g>Too funny! How did you guess? That's exactly where we were!
My youngest son, Justin, spent the last 8 months in Paris. We went to visit him before he came back home to Georgia (like we really need an excuse to go to Paris? <g>). He was studying architecture at Georgia Tech and they have a program there where the seniors can go to Paris to study their final year at a sister school. Isn't that a great place for studying architecture? Anyway, we spent a few days with him and then he went home, and we spent a few more days on our own before we came home. It worked out pretty good, he showed us some places that we hadn't been before and we showed him a few that he hadn't been to.
All in all, it was a nice relaxing vacation, and I really needed it! ... I hated to come back to the perennial meetings that seem to come with the job lately. <g>
