What a rotten problem. With 1000+ records it must be fairly massive...I don't know of any particular limit, but if this is recurring, then is there some way you could split some of the functions up into multiple forms? (I'm reaching here!)

I develop locally, so I can't even say if there's a problem due to the network drive. But you didn't say if the form runs normally and then exits and corrupts or crashes while running and then is corrupted.

Again, grids can be a problem, too. Do you have any? How many?
