Are you suggesting that the government should have invested more money in Chrysler so that they do not file for bankrupcy (and thus still be liable in court)?
What about other products? What if my lawnmower explode in my face and the company went bankrupt?
What the article doesn't specify is the responsibility of the driver. Was he a innocent crash victim or he rolled-over in the ditch after going too fast? I'm very sceptical about these kind of court case as it seem to me a trick used by lawyers to make more money.
