Next week I am going to bring the first Sopranos season back here and start watching the whole thing from start to finish. It will be a much better pastime for me than what I've been doing. Remember what Dr. Melfi told Tony? -- depression is rage turned inwards. I want to somehow get past all that, the depression, the drinking, all the negative stuff. We pass this way but once.

Mike, you might want to start with the Season One episode when Tony took Meadow up to New England to look at colleges. Meadow got trashed on the night when Tony left her alone. I refer you to Tony's lecture in the car the next day....."Excuse me, Miss Cuervo Anejo, but you can't be trusted to remember what happened last night, because you were seein' pink elephants".

What is it you expect to gain by using the UT for true confessions?

Mike, I just rocked K2 to sleep....you know what she needs the most? She needs for her dad to be a MAN, and for her mom to be a WOMAN. When I think of parents who screw up their lives when their kids need them the most, it makes me sick.

AA....the constant butt-kickings from Tracy and Tamar (which I suspect you somehow perversely enjoy)....it is about one thing - the choices you make.

Since I believe you like sports - do you know the story about Joe Torre admitting that he was an undisciplined eater as a kid? I believe his older brother finally had enough, got in his face, told Joe that he was a big fat pig, and told him to go on a diet. Well, despite the fact that Joe grew up in an environment of domestic violence (which surely affected his mental state), he sucked it up and finally got into shape.

Your depression does not absolve you from the incredibly stupid and bad decisions you continue to make.

So tell us whom you admire the most....which living individual do you hold as your highest value - so that everyone here can persuade that person to get in your face and knock some sense into you. You have people who depend on you. Most people take that responsibility with honor - you treat it as a chance to wax poetically when you screw up.
