Movie (among other things) argues constitutional base requiring people to file 1040. According to movie there is no law
requiring you to file personal income tax. What exist is tax code writen by IRS. Some people even got away without paying tax
because IRS could not present law/paragraph that clearly states this to be obligatory. Some people got jailed although
they were refering to supreme court decisions in the past. It is basicaly legal vacuum of a sort.

I do not agree that there should be no income tax (although wld be nice {g})
but perhaps US congress can simply rectify issue by actually bringing such law in existance and finish story.
Whole world files income taxes, it is just that national legislations are perhaps more precise.

The rest of the movie admitedly have some problematic points (microchip story / conspiracy commentaries/hints), but this issue
with tax law is valid subject for research. Federal reserve system is another black box that deserves demistification.

What I found really astonishing, was the brute force and intimidation that IRS was exercizing. I wld assume
again as result of legal shotcommings in regulating this area. Can you really sue and win IRS agent for excessive use of
brute force as you can do with ordinary cops ?
Why in a civised country tax authority need fire-arms to enforce tax collection. This was really shocking.
And then judge who publicly dismisses/ignores Supreme court decision, just because it concearns IRS.
It is hard to explain how is all this possible in a country that cherish freedoms and legality to such great extent.
