LeBron en fuego! I am sure you watched the game last night, as I did. He took over the game in the 4th period, just as MJ used to, in a must-win elimination game. Until reading a recap on espn.com just now I didn't realize how completely he took it over. Starting at the end of the third quarter he scored or assisted on 32 straight Cavs points, during which they outscored the Magic 32-17. For the night he had 37 points, 14 boards, and 12 assists. He is averaging 41.2 points a game for the series.

There are some other hoops fans in the group of contractors I am working with (since most of us are from other parts of the country, LOL) and we were yakking about the playoffs for a few minutes yesterday. One guy in particular was shaking his head over the Cavs, who he has been cheering for. (He's from Montana so it's not exactly his local team. That's another MJ parallel, pulling in fans who have no natural reason to cheer for your team). I said this series is not over. I assumed the Cavs would defend their home court last night, which they did. And I will assume the same about a possible game 7, especially with the psychological stress on the Magic of letting a 3-1 lead -- which would have been 4-0 if not for LeBron's game saver in game 2 -- turn into 3-3. So in my view it all comes down to game 6 on Saturday.
