>>>>>>>Hmmmm... I see your point. It is his FRANCHISE that is being given FREEly to another dealer, not the Inventory.
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>Why isn't the government bailing out these franchises? They allowed Chrysler to pick and choose whom to destroy, then why doesn't the government print out some money and bail out those lost franchises? That would give them time to purchase other franchises from some other car manufacturer (foreign) and keep Americans at work.
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>Seems only fair.......
>>>>>>
>>>>>>Democrats only care about fairness in theory... not in practice.
>>>>>
>>>>>Come on, Mike. That kind of demonizing and stereotyping is not useful. It's the copout of people far less smart than you. (On both sides, so please don't take this as a partisan rant).
>>>>
>>>>Is it though? It seems democrats only care about fairness when it meets their agenda. For example, "fairness" to illegal immigrants, "fairness" to failing businesses, "fairness" to poor families. What about fairness to our children regarding the huge debt to be paid off? You don't hear Olbermann talking about that. How about fairness to me to keep the fruits of my labor rather than redistrubuting it? (projection, I know, but if you don't think taxes are going to skyrocket to pay for these programs then you're crazy) How about fairness to me to be able to live my life the way I want to, and raise my children the way I want to, without the government intefering or vocal liberals calling me a gun-toting redneck?
>>>
>>>Or your children being taught in school that its okay to have 2 mommies or 2 daddies, that global warming will destroy their world, that big business is causing the destruction of the planet....etc...
>>
>>But remember, God is not allowed.

>Because we were founded as a nation against religious persecution, you knucklehead. The founders studiously avoided the institution of a national religion. They prescribed freedom of religion. Their religion was in many cases what drove them from where they were born, where discrimination of religion was A-OK. Not here, they said. And salud to them. Yes, the founders were Christian. But they pointedly did not implement a Christian state. Pretty smart guys, I think.

Agreed, however, we need to ensure that it doesn't bounce back too far in the opposite direction where religious freedom is actualy stifled or taxed to the point where it is not available to everyone. Did you actually read the link he posted? I think you would find it interesting.
