> Why are you messing up with TA or DS and not simply using the cool L2S (ignoring the myths about it is dead).
>
>Cetin, L2S is 'ok' for some things, but breaks down too often (doesn't support isolation levels as well, doesn't allow subclassing in certain areas).
>
>There's a view amongst many database professionals that L2S is for "the Access crowd, for people who want to be Visual Studio operators". Sure, DB pros can be a bit snobbish at times, but I agree with that mindset more than I disagree. (And for the record, I certainly don't view as part of what I put in quotes) :)

>Naomi, as Bonnie said (and I agree 1000%), the issue is not with the dataset, it's with the TA. I hate to make blanket statements, but stay away from the TA. Bonnie has published code on using datasets in a distributed enviornment, I've written and published code, and so have many others. You're better off studying those, than trying to use the TA.

Hi Kevin,

Can you post some links, please?

We have MereMortals framework here, so for next .NET project I think I will use its DataAccess class instead.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
