No, don't use chr(12). If you want to try my idea, add a field with
replicate(chr(13),20) for example.

However, how can we figure out when to add this field? That's a bit tricky, I think I solved similar problem long time ago that's why I was searching for "odd even" in the Report category, but I think Cathy has more modern way of solving this problem.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
