You know, while some things seem almost sacrosanct, a large number of economists (on both sides of the spectrum) concluded in the 1980's that there were "too many farmers". While it sounds almost evil to utter those words, it's hard to argue with the numbers that were presented at the time.

I'm depressed all around when it comes to this country's future. I think Obama will run this country into the ground - but I'm also disappointed with the very industry leaders who are supposed to be the model for the free market system and have failed just as badly.
