Most interesting..... considering those AirBuses are built to just about be self-flying and extrememly robust.... I find it hard to believe that the pilots would fly into a thunderstorm, with the inbuilt radar systems created to avoid that kind of thing....

plus... the pilot never gave a may-day... the destruction of the plane was very quick. I think the odds are very good they made good on their threat....
