If IE8 is any indication, there is plenty of reason to wait. I excitedly installed it the day it was released.
What a mistake! I have never seen a browser crash so much. Spent hours removing any and all plug ins,
updating video drivers, anything to stop the crashes. No luck. Tried compatibility view... no luck. Sure,
it is supposed to be more 'standards' based, but why doesn't a web page just display wrong then? Why
is IE8 so unstable? There is no excuse for this. Reminds me of VFP 6 before SP3 came out. Crashed
all the time. So thanks for the 'no reason to wait' advice, but I have been burned too many times!

Oh, and the solution that stopped the crashes? Uninstalled IE8 and went back to IE7. Not a single crash
since then!!
