Hello,

I have a VFP application with SQL Server backend. I have the Crystal 9 runtime engine installed on the clients to view the reports. The application has been in place for years and has worked just fine.

Recently, every time the report button is pushed to call up a report, the Runtime engine has caused an error and the program shutsdown. When I look at a list of the errorlog, it tells me there is a "Data type mismatch" in the "setreportproperties" method.

Periodically, the Crystal runtime engine errors out - usually after a Windows update or something. The fix has been really easy, simply start the Crystal Runtime installer and "Repair." This has fixed the problem every time except for this one computer.

I have repaired, uninstalled, re-installed, etc., to try and fix this problem. No success.

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this particular client to have this problem? Again, the reports have previously worked on this client. Something has happened recently to cause this report failure.

Thanks,

TFISHER
