>>I don't think this is a matter of rates. I have an old project that I thought the customer stopped using years ago. And now they called me and want me to make a couple of changes. And since the last time I did anything with this project (in 2000) I have changed the computer 3 times. And somehow one of the folders where some files of this project resided was deleted. And I can't seem to be able to find a back up. My mistake, of course.

I kind of disagree. They (the company) relied on me keeping the source code. All they want now is a couple of changes to 2 reports which would take me less than an hour. Now you saying they would have to pay $400. for a one-hour job? I don't think they will and I don't think it is fair. I will either buy ReFox and "eat" the cost or admit to them that I lost the source code and can't make the change.
