>Yes, I delivered code and it's in production at multiple client sites (and working nicely).
>I can take him to court and I'm sure I'd win as I have doumenataion and such on my machine here. I don't want to have to end up going that route because by the time that all pans out me and the girls will be sleeping in our car..hahaha.
>I am just going to try to calm down, go in there in the morning and demand antother check. It's not like he doesn't have it - I understand the finiancials of the company and he has plenty of money - I think he's just trying to take advantage of me or something? Damn I dont get it! arrrg.
>Like I told Kev, I'm going to go lay down and try to clear my head and sleep some. I don't think real clearly when I'm this upset and it's past 1:30am here so I've already beat myself up over it more than what's probably healthy.
>Anyway.. thanks man for the support - I will let ya know what happens tomorrow.

If he doesn't make good right away, do get a lawyer. This may be a small enough amount of money that you can take it to local district court ("justice of the peace"), which is a lot cheaper than regular court. Filing the papers will probably be enough to get him to pay.
