Actually, what I was hoping to do was to unbind the eventhandler and drop right back into the automation routine continuing with processing of the next document. The documents are created in batches so I was hoping to cycle through the automation to edit process and back using a single instance of Word.

I must have taken my stupid pills today <s>. I do not understand why you need to unbind the event handler to accomplish this.
