Sort of... If the "data source" is a form of my design and the form control added to the form is a class of mine, e.g., a char type field would add a "MyCharClass" control to the form possibly with an associated label from where ever I decide to get my labels.

The kind of stuff I'm used to might be something like running a builder on a form that looks at control properties and checks the associated table.field in the back end database and updates allowable entry length in case the table structure had changed. Stuff along those lines.

Fairly simple stuff in VFP, hopefully simple in .NET.
