>Do you put the world before your own country and family? Do you feed the world before you feed your family?

Not entirely fair question.

Hint: Why do they on an airplane always tell you first to help yourself (oxigen mask) before helping your children?

Personally I'd put the interests of the people in my inner circle (children, wife, friends etc) first not only for now, but also in perspecitive of a sustainable future. The problem is that individuals do not have much control and knowledge over/about anything outside of their inner circle. I'd leave that to people I trust, have the power and know have a vision about what needs to be done. The world is utterly complex and it is beyond the capability of individuals to know what best for their country in all aspects, let alone the whole world. This is the reason why we have government on various levels. You may like it or not, but if we all like individuals are going to decide on issues on a global scale we're getting nowhere.

Every four or five years, I have the opportunity to speak out, which individuals I trust to deal with more global issues on various levels on government.
