Even intelligent people can be fanatics. My sister is intelligent, but said quite bluntly that if she ever gets cancer, she will NOT see a doctor. She will go to a "wellness professional" to have her toxins purged, and she'll be absolutely cured. Apparently this is something the doctors don't want you to know because they're all crooks.
I'd say getting the immunizations is the way to go.
Better a wealthy crook who is right than a wellness professional who is wrong.
