If you don't immunize your child, then you're counting on the people around you to immunize theirs. Immunization works because the vast majority do it, so the risk to those who can't (or don't for some reason) is greatly reduced.

My kids had the full round of immunizations (though Solomon had chicken pox long before there was a vaccine). I'd do the same if I had it to do over again.
