Between times, they often forget what a particular datum means, or people want to pass on the day-to-day info of getting information that official guidance doesn't cover. And, even, a lot of times, it's never the same person twice who does a task. Hence, the concept of notes attached to fields. My model is stacking 3x5 recipe cards. Same idea with tasks.
