If you schedule the job using credentials that are not what you are used to login to the box it'll run to a console display that you can not see. Make sure you have adequate error trapping/reporting in place so that you can isolate the environmental issues. Also on the task scheduler explorer menu: Advanced/View Log and look at it.It's a static length file that rolls over on itself so you have to look for this marker:
