I think I have got to the bottom of this.
In Scheduled Tasks, there is a tick box to say:
Dont run if on Battery
This is ticked by default

When I unticked this, the scheduled task began.

For some reason, the server either 'is' or 'thinks' it is running on battery !!

>Maybe it's a permissions issue? At the problem sites you could try running the scheduled task with Administrator credentials.
