Thanks for the input. Actually, my installation puts this file in their windows directory, so I think I should be able to find it. The only problem with letting them download the file is this: suppose a sales rep knows that he is resigning in a month. He may update his expiration date to make sure he has a whole year of (unauthorized) use of this program. That's why there is the need to make sure the program is due to expire before updating the date.
