I am impressed by that and she deserves recognition for it. On the other hand, I wonder how impressed those classmates with higher scores but who did not get into the Ivy League schools because that position was taken by someone else due to affirmative action are and how they feel....did they miss the same opportunities or did they excel in the route they were forced to take due to affirmative action? Just pondering all the perspectives...
