I don't see how you can "praise" him. If you don't find fault with actions that created the opportunity to run without a true opponent, fine...but praise???? Get real. :)

And what about Obama's tactics re: Jack Ryan? Obama (and his legal team, and many of his backers) lobbied heavily to open the Ryan's divorce records to the public - it was only AFTER a judge ordered some of the records to be made public that Obama changed his poision and told his backers not to use them as part of the campaign. Obama's shift was slammed by many as hypocritical, since his backers had been emailing reports about the divorce records prior to the judge's decision.

Obama's history on changing his views for expediency is pretty bad. In January 2007 he stated that his views on Iraq were "pretty much the same and in-line as President Bush".....and then proceeded to rip the Bush administration from the spring of '07 to the election. Then he said a few months ago that "Iraq is much better off without Hussein", despite the fact that he has called Iraq "a war of choice".

His intentions of compromising Israel are likely rooted in the anti-semitic effect that Jeremiah Wright had on him, even though Obama claims he denounces the statements of Rev. Wright (which he only did after tremendous pressure).

If you "have great hope" in him, fine - all I see is a man whose creed might wind up destroying our country
