Hold on a second. If you and another are competing for the same job, and you know that other fellow broke a law in trying to obtain that job, would you be wrong in pointing that out to the prospective employer? Would you be guilty of creating a situation of having no competition? All for supporting the law? I would find you guilty if you knowingly allowed someone to break the law. You know the problem with hypotheticals? They're often useless.

But to answer your question, no, I would not point it out. Because it quite likely would raise a flag to the employer that I was more interested in discrediting my opposition than demonstrating my own merits. I've won jobs, contracts, and assignments over some rather well-known names where I could have dropped a few very serious (legally) but true tidbits about those names - but I didn't.
