As anyone done a new install for a VFP 6.0 application and found that
you get fatal exception errors when exit the app?

I've just sent a client a web based install using VFP 6.0 install wizard for installation on Win95 based machines.

Everything worked okay until closing the application's executable they
got a fatal exception error = C0000005 with an OK message box. When you click okay the app quits as expected.

According to Microsoft's Tech support the fix for this is installing Microsoft's latest DCOM95 version 1.2 onto the machines. Of Course this works.

In looking at what DCOM95's install is doing, it replaces numerous DLL files, of which several are common DLLs like oleaut32.dll, etc.
that VFP 6.0's install routine is also supposed to install.

My thinking is that VFP 6.0 is not set to install all the neccessary components or the correct version, but Microsoft's Tech Support says no "they think" DCOM95's install is doing something else that fixes this problem, but they don't know what.

If anyone else has run across this issue in VFP 6.0 I'd like to know.
