Absurd, we are talking about international laws (e.g. Geneva convention). Also, when I visit the US I'm subject to US laws, not to the DUTCH one. Or else I could use drugs everywhere without a problem, could prostitute a few ladies without a problem etc. Your attitude is exactly the arrogant american example we see as a stereotype over here. Whether they in fact are guilty or not is besides the point. In every civilized country you are innocent until proven otherwise. Apparently you think the US is so superior that it can ignore international treaties and even national laws. And you still wonder why certain people (BTW, not me) are hating Americans? I think that anyone agreeing with the stuff that went on the the Bush era needs a reality check.

I get the impression that some right wing American have a superior feeling about themselves. They don't seem to realize that a life in Europe, Asia or middle east is just as valuable as in the US. At least Obama, carries out a message he wants to change this from the Bush administration. You now know why Obama is much more liked outside of the US.
