I don't mind, as a matter of fact I like, the diversification of our country, but I want Americans who are qualified to fill the positions. I don't want Afro-Americans, Italian-Americans, Irish-Americans, Jewish-Americans or anything else hyphenated - just Americans. If a person wants to cling to their heritage, that's fine, but don't call yourself both. I'm not an Irish-American. I am an American who has roots in Ireland, Scotland, England and Germany, and who knows before that. Even so, it is American or it is otherwise for me. I'm an ugly, arrogant, bigoted, war-mongering American...does that count? <s>
