It is interesting that just today I noticed a book my 19 yo daughter is reading; and it is "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand. I already sent her the link for this video interview (while she is out with her friends and makes me worried <g>). I might even try to read the book myself (more than 1000 pages). It is a heavy book to read, but WELL worth it. While John Galt and Dagny Taggart are the main characters, my favorite character is Ragnar Danneskjold...he might possibly be the most creative character ever invented. I envy anyone who gets to go back and discover what I discovered from reading both Atlas and the Fountainhead.
(And by the way, while Rand never admitted to it....she injects a few literary practical jokes into the book, based on her Jewish upbringing.....they are very subtle....a few I caught, but most I learned about from others).
